A Note From Adelle | Salon Adelle Closing

Dear Valued Guest,

It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this email. With much thought and prayer, we feel it is time to temporarily close our doors to protect the wellbeing of our guests, our team and our community. As of March 30th, we will no longer be receiving guests in the salon. Our hope and desire is that we are all re-united in just a few short weeks. Covid-19, may have a hold on our world right now, but it doesn’t own our spirits. We are saddened to have to step back and take time away from the salon, but we know that all things work together for good – even when it isn’t clearly evident.

Closing the salon isn’t just hard on me as an owner, and terribly hard on your incredibly talented design team. Without the salon, they will not have an income, as many of you are experiencing as well during this time. Please keep them in your prayers as this is uncharted waters for all of us. Most of all, our team is distraught about knowing that this disruption in service impacts your color and extension maintenance/installation appointments. We are collectively thinking outside the box to how we can deliver additional value to you when we can’t physically see you in the salon and truly appreciate your feedback in helping us navigate these uncharted waters.

We have sent out two short surveys in regards to at home color & extension services. It will only take a moment to complete and your responses will greatly help us plan for you and your needs during this time away from the salon. Thank you in advance for doing this! Here are a few ways to support us and your stylists during this time!

  1. Purchase a gift card for your next reservation
  2. All retail is 25% off. We are offering a scheduled curbside pickup, delivery within 10 miles, or usps delivery. This is good for Oribe, Unite, Kevin Murphy, Zenagen, CBD, MO Dry Shampoo, Jewelry and accessories.
  3. Re-scheduling your reservations in advance for mid-April will ensure you will get in when we open back up.
  4. ZOOM video calls for consultations and personal consulting.



THANK YOU SO MUCH for how amazing you have been during this time. We have received so much support and love from our guests and it has really helped us with this decision. It’s literally the hardest decision I have ever had to make for me, my family, each individual team member, and our business. I would greatly appreciate any and all your prayers during this time. A note from Travis: Dear Guests, I already miss you all. I keep thinking I will wake up and this crisis will be over. And it’s not. I wanted to give us some hope during this time with a story about what i’m up to…

My normal way of being and acting during uncertain times is to grasp for control of things that I could never control. This leaves me without power and feeling helpless and full of panic. These actions have never served me well. What does serve me well is making a choice to limit my news intake, practicing mindfulness, being present with my family and remembering I’m a child of God. Let’s remember that we have a choice. We can be bitter or better, which will you be?
