Is Your Hair Thinning?

How long have you been suffering with thinning hair? Or do you struggle to have healthy hair? Why does it seem that some women don’t have to work hard at good hair while others have to work so hard at it?

Lifestyle is everything. Our hair is a true indication of the health of our minds and bodies. There are so many reasons why women struggle with thinning hair. Constant negativity, thyroid, hormonal changes, stress, anemia, surgery, weight loss, anxiety, drinking, depression and much more. All of these effect our hair so greatly. For a woman, hair is EVERYTHING! It’s our number one accessory every single day. If our hair starts thinning, it’s not something you want to wait around to see what happens. Go get blood work! Start evaluating your life and the stressors that are in it. Have all of these things checked. The sucky part of getting older is our hair ages as well. The older we get, the harder we have to work at keeping healthy hair. It’s just a fact of life, but there are so many things we can do to help our hair in the middle of a crisis.

Here are a couple things to do when you start noticing extra shedding.

(Please note: This is what my dr recommended to me. Please check with your own Dr. to be sure you are able to take the same doses)
  • Take iron pills. If you are low on iron, chances are, it’s causing you to thin. Go have your iron checked asap!
  • Start taking 10,000mcg of Biotin! Biotin is so good for our hair and we don’t get enough of it. Our bodies slow down on making it so we need the extra biotin to boost the reproduction of hair cells.
  • Take 800mg of folic acid. Folic acid aids in faster cell growth to help regrow your hair quicker.
  • Vitamin B3. It promotes growth of existing hair and helps increase elasticity of our hair.

I hope this helps someone out there. If this helped you, tell me your story! #thinninghairsolution
