We know you could have chosen many other salons, and we are so honored you chose us. We don’t take that responsibility lightly and it is our commitment to exceed your expectations.

Q. Who are you? We are honored to have been awarded and rated “Top 200 Salons in North America” by Salon Today and Modern Salon magazines. We were awarded in four (4) separate categories. We are also a team of champions who are fully dedicated to providing you with healthy hair, using personalized, superior service with integrity.

Q. Who is the owner? Hello, My name is Adelle,  and I’ve been blessed to co-own Salon Adelle for 6 years now with my husband, Travis. I graduated from cosmetology school here in Greenville in 2004 and have enjoyed this wild journey in beauty ever since. I wanted desperately to create a different atmosphere in the salon as well as enhance the experience of getting your hair done in Greenville. Here is what I wanted to create in my salon atmosphere.

  • Well educated stylists, who keep up with trends and treats our guest with the same enthusiasm and excellence as the first time they stepped foot in the salon.  
  • The health and integrity of hair is a top priority. 
  • We have a relationship with our guests and our team without all the gossip and drama.

We have not only made all of these happen, we go above and beyond this. We want you to feel at home. We also love communication, and believe most of the worlds problems could be corrected with more communication. We wanted to create this FAQ to help do that with you. We will do our best to keep you fully informed during the process. However, in the rare cases we don’t do this, please let us know right away. We truly value you as our guest and want to earn your business with every interaction we have with you. 

Q. Why do certain stylists cost more than others? As with any professional service industry, the prices fluctuate between professional stylists according to the time they have invested in their careers, our intense training program, and the number of years of experience. Each stylist goes through rigorous training and education, and is required to complete different skill level assessments in order to move up to the next skill level. Each stylist also has the opportunity to go to even more advanced education classes which elevate them from their peers. All of this training is done to improve the technical skills needed to deliver a better, more advanced guest excellence experience for you as our guest. 

Q. What is the atmosphere like? Comfortable, relaxed, upscale, drama free. A place where you are our priority.

Q. What products do you carry? Our goal is to find and match your hair type to the correct products to enhance and make your hair shine! We carry Oribe, Kevin Murphy and Unite. We also carry several other hair thinning solutions and accessories for everything beauty. Our products are sulfate/parabins free and organic. Each line that we carry is extensively researched and tested by Adelle to ensure that anything we offer to our guest is 100% reliable and the best quality on the market. Feel free to check them out!

Q. Do you guarantee your services and products? Our promise is to exceed your expectations, while keeping the integrity of your hair a top priority. Although we wish we could be miracle workers, we are sometimes limited by previous hair history in some cases. This is why the consultation, and clear communication from the very beginning is vital so that we can create a hair journey for you that results in the hair of your dreams! We will guarantee our color services with purchase of our insurance kit (shampoo & conditioner with 2 must have styling agents, 4 total products). Bring in your other products (no matter the brand) to your first reservation with us and receive 10% off your total retail purchase on that day.

Q. Why does the stylists explain so much about the style and products used? We are an educating salon. I have found in our industry that most stylist do hair and send the client out the door never educating them on how to properly care for their hair or how to style it. At Salon Adelle, we want to ensure that you have all the information needed to know how to reproduce the look at home and take excellent care of your hair between reservations. We are always educating on proper product amounts and usage, as we have found so many use products in the wrong way. We encourage this time to be a fun educational time where you can learn some extra tips on how to have the most beautiful hair you have ever had. We truly only want the best for your hair as its your number 1 accessory.

Q. What is your salon team like?  We are so blessed to have a team of champions who encourage, lift each other up, and collaborate with each other in every way. Our goal as a team, is to deliver the best guest excellence experience to each and every guest.

Q. Do I leave gratuity? and for who? Gratuity is voluntary. You are under no obligation to tip anyone. On the other hand, gratuity makes up a good portion of the income your stylist depends on to live. If they are delivering exceptional service it would be customary to tip them between 20-30% of the service costs. If other stylists assisted in the washing and blowouts you could tip them between $1-$10 per service. Just remember there is no requirement to tip, or not to tip, or how little or how much. If we have earned your business, this is just one way of saying “Thank You” and that we gave you amazing service. Our professionals are so appreciative and grateful of anything you leave for them.

Q. What is the best way to get a reservation? We have a fully comprehensive online booking system here on our website, and a full time front desk concierge available during business hours at 864-787-6668. For your convenience you can also book directly from Instagram and Facebook.

Q. Do I need to wash my hair prior to coming in? Please come with no more than 2 days since washing. If you wear any kind of root spray to cover gray, please come in without the spray on your hair. It will effect the ability for our color to process on your hair and having great results.

Q. Can I bring my children? While we do love children, we have found that bringing children to your salon reservation can be a disservice to other guests and to you, so we ask that you not bring your children to your reservation unless they also have a reservation with us. This is your time to relax and pamper yourself with some alone time. Take advantage of this time for you!

Q. What types of hair extensions do you offer? We offer four different types of extensions. Habit Hand-tied (also called NBR), Fusion (strand by strand), Tape (By EHP) and Microbeaded Row (with weft hair). We have been certified in all the extension applications that we offer and have experts that you can speak with to get the best results.

Q. Why do you require consultations for extensions? What we have found is that when you come into our salon, we are able to have a connection with you and your hair, while learning all about the history of your hair and previous journey. Having the ability to run our hands through your hair and see it in person allows for us to be able to give you an exact investment total, with a mapped out journey for your hair. This process simply cannot happen over the phone. We value this time we get spend with you going over your options with our undivided attention. We require that each guest invest a deposit on their account prior to their first visit with us. This guarantees your time with us and lets us know you are serious about taking your hair to the next level. We then will apply your deposit to your total investment on the day of the reservation.

Q. What are “Treat Card Points”. This my new friend, is one of the cool things about loyal guests at Salon Adelle. For every dollar you spend you get treat points added to your account. These points will add up quickly, giving you “treats” within our luxury upgrade services. Our software generates the services and points for each service allowing you to use each service only 1 time. This encourages you to try new things for your hair. You never know, you may love something and want to purchase it again next time!

Q. What happens if I need to reschedule? In order to deliver you the best guest excellence, we have a few standards for both you and us to help things run smoothly and efficiently. We understand that there are times when you may need to cancel or reschedule your reservation. Please do your best to provide us with a 48 hour notice in order to avoid a cancellation fee of 30% of the total. It is your responsibility as a guest to attend and maintain your reservations in order for us to deliver guest excellence and give you the hair of your dreams. In the event of a no-show reservation, you will be charged 100% of the total scheduled. If you miss/cancel more than 3 reservations, you may be discharged from our care and fees may be applied. If you cancel 2 or more reservations, you will no longer be allowed to schedule in advance and must pre-pay for your reservations in advance. If you are up to 20 minutes late we can still provide your service; however, you may not receive the entire service that you were scheduled for. Together, we will determine what portion of your service we may not have time to complete. You will however, be charged for the full service you were scheduled to receive. If we miss your scheduled reservation due to lack of organization on our part, your next service will be complimentary. We hold ourselves to the same standards we request from you.M
